Ingredients
- 5-6 leaves of freshly plucked Tulsi

- Honey to taste
Preparation
- Boil the above ingredients (except honey) in 1.5 glasses of water till the content is reduced to one glass.
- Filter the liquid.
- Cool a little, then add honey and consume while hot.
Cinnamon Ginger Tea
An excellent and time-tested remedy for cold and cough, this concoction is highly effective even if you are beginning to feel symptoms of a sore throat and slight temperature. Loaded with anti-oxidants, cinnamon powder has anti-inflammatory properties and helps fight infection due to bacteria and fungi. Combined with the goodness of pepper, turmeric and ginger, this drink helps boost your body’s strength and is great for monsoon-related problems.

- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp ginger juice freshly extracted (¾ tbsp ginger powder, if fresh ginger is not available)

- Mix all the powders and boil in in 1.5 glasses of water till the content is reduced to one glass.

Honey Lemon Tea
A refreshing tea, that works wonders when it comes to curing cold and sore throat during the rains.
Ingredients
- 1 glass of water
- ½ tsp of tea powder
- ½ lemon(juice)
- 1tsp honey
Preparation
- Boil the water in a deep sauce pan.
- Add tea powder to the boiling water and stir well.
- Filter the liquid and add lime juice.
- When it cools, add honey and stir well. And enjoy the drink.
